A clinical psychology-informed resource for social anxiety

Conquer Social Anxiety was created by Martin Stork, MSc, whose background is in clinical psychology, psychotherapy for adults, and social anxiety research. The site exists to make evidence-informed education about social anxiety clearer, more accessible, and easier to apply in real life.

CSA is built as a focused educational library, not a general mental health blog. It is designed for people who want to understand social anxiety, recognize the patterns that keep it going, and find responsible information about treatment and recovery.

Learn what can help with social anxiety

Social anxiety is treatable. CSA explains major treatment approaches clearly, including what they involve, how they may help, and where their limits are.

You can start with the treatment overview, or explore specific approaches such as CBT, exposure therapy, behavioral experiments, medication, ACT, mindfulness, compassion-focused therapy, and more.

You can also compare other therapy approaches.

A structured social anxiety course is in development

CSA is also developing an integrative online course for social anxiety. The course is designed to combine psychoeducation, practical exercises, and evidence-informed therapy approaches in a structured learning path.

It is not a replacement for individualized therapy. It is being developed as a serious, guided resource for people who want to understand and work with social anxiety step by step.

You can also start with the free 7-day email course.

Feel at Ease. Engage Freely. Belong.

Conquer Social Anxiety exists for people who are tired of organizing their lives around fear, avoidance, self-monitoring, and shame. The aim is not to become a different person, but to move toward a life with more ease, connection, and freedom.

CSA is built around the belief that social anxiety is understandable, treatable, and not a personal failure. With the right knowledge, support, and practice, it is possible to relate to yourself and others in a different way.

CSA provides education, not emergency support or a substitute for professional diagnosis, treatment, or therapy. If you are in immediate danger or crisis, please seek urgent local help. For more information, see Crisis Help and the Medical Disclaimer.
